There's one thing we know for sure: the world we live in is constantly changing. We are inundated with information, ideas, and content daily, which can feel consuming and overwhelming, especially for future generations. So, how do we help ourselves and the youth of tomorrow? We provide them with tools and support to navigate life's many challenges. We inspire them through action. To become visionary leaders of tomorrow. We teach them to embrace and honour themselves and others. We show them how kindness, strength and vulnerability are valuable traits of inspirational leaders. We introduce them to EVOLVEMENT!
At the heart of EVOLVEMENT is a core of personal growth and transformation. Our team is dedicated to guiding individuals on their personal journey to becoming the best version of themselves through the three pillars of the program – Leadership, Mentorship, and Circles.
PROGRAM PILLARS
LEADERSHIP
Evolvement Leadership is the first component of the EVOLVEMENT program, designed to help young men and those who identify as men, develop life and leadership skills by focusing on and understanding their emotions, promoting positive masculinity, and proactively combatting gender and lateral violence by addressing the underlying norms and attitudes before they arise.
MENTORSHIP
This program is designed to ensure young men in our community can access mentors who can walk beside them on their leadership journey. The mentors in the program are everyday Albertans who come from all walks of life and have various skills, knowledge, and life experiences to share with those in the program. Plus, they receive extensive training to ensure they are equipped to support the community leaders of tomorrow.
CIRCLES
Even as adults, life can be challenging and overwhelming, but we often sensor and keep to ourselves to not burden our friends and family with these hurdles. Introducing EVOLVEMENT Circles, a brave and supportive environment where men and women can come together and engage in meaningful and transformational conversations that effect men.
So, what does the future look like with the implementation of EVOLVEMENT? Great question! Ultimately, we envision communities where young men feel supported and positioned to reach their full potential and become strong, compassionate leaders. We see inclusivity and kindness for everyone, regardless of their sexuality, gender, faith, culture, or nationality. A future of like-minded individuals who challenge each other to be better, who support one another, and who feel empowered in their values and beliefs to inform their leadership style.
